Enjoy the show. Hello, beautiful lights and souls. I am Reverend Joya and welcome to episode one of my new rebranded podcast. And I am now calling this Turn Up Your Light. This name was completely downloaded to me through all of the work I've been doing over the last 14 months. And here's what I want to promise you about this podcast. Number one, you will never see a AI replacement of me ever. I am me in the flesh, personal me. I will never duplicate my voice for AI to use and have an AI script read by an artificial intelligence that does not transmit the same frequency as the human voice. And my frequency, I know, is attuned to the creator. We're all attuned to the creator and the creator's light that flows through us. And it's that frequency, that resonance, that becomes a resonant field into which others can pick up the light within themselves. I will also never read a totally AI-ridden script. Never, never, never. If you ever hear me say you're not broken, if you ever hear me say that changes everything, you will know that that's probably AI written. I don't speak like that. So with that, I want to get into what this podcast now going forward is going to be about and why I am so passionate about turn up your light. So for years, since I was a little girl, something has always riddled my mind. And it is the fact that coded within every, I wish I had a seed, that coded within every single seed is the fullest expression of what that thing is supposed to be. Like the fulfillment of it is already encoded in the seed. How big and magnificent the tree will get, how many fruits will be on this tree in its lifetime? How juicy will those fruits be? How big is the rose supposed to get? And how much perfume and essence will flow from this particular rose? It's all encoded in this unseen, intelligent code within the seed, this life force that urges it into the fullest expression of itself. So, how could an intelligent designer, a creator of all that is, that has every living thing encoded within that living thing to be the fullest, most magnificent, perfect expression of itself, not have given that same gift to you and to me? Why are we different? Why do we have free will? Why do we get to have a say in who and what we become? Deep inside of us, though, there is this pressure, the same pressure, that same life force energy, the same source of light that flows into us that urges us to expand, to expand into more, to grow. There's a sense that we all have that we are greater than we are currently being. And this very greatness within us urges us into the fullest expression of ourselves. And that is the light of the Creator itself flowing into us, wanting us to show up and reveal more of the light through us in our lives. So, how do we know who this self is? How do we know when we're living into the fullest expression of who we are? Why do people struggle so much with not knowing what they want? So, this is where we have practices and principles and processes because we don't get to know the fullest expression at the end as an end result. And honestly, because we would be afraid of what we can be, what we're meant to be, who we can become. And so our very life itself, the moment that we are in, our free will, our creation power lies in our very path itself. Then we get to go play and express and expand into who and what we are and how and where we want to be. And when we do it in alignment with love, with light, with truth, then we feel so good. It generates generative properties, expansive qualities within us that feel good, qualities of inner peace and clarity and joy and kindness. It creates feel-good chemicals inside of us as a reward system for us to keep doing more of that thing, but not as an addiction, because there's no guilt, there's no blame, there's no shame, and there's certainly never any harm to another human being. Because when we are operating from the space of the creator's love and the creator's light, we are never bringing harm to another person. We're doing the opposite. We're activating the force and frequency of love within them too. This is what it means to turn up your light. And this is what we're going to be exploring on this show from here on out. Because I have recently had this aha, this epiphany, that the way in which you walk your life determines who you become. Of course, we know that. This incarnation is temporary, but our soul is eternal, and it's definitely time for us to act accordingly. Our soul came here and came into matter, it is slowed down light so that we can really feel and really experience and really hone into the frequency that we want to hold and create in this world. This world inside of you gets manifested and expressed on the world outside of you as well. And as our daily actions in our daily life become who we are from the level of the soul, not the level of our thinking mind, the level of the soul. Because our very life, each and every single one of us, our very life is our spiritual curriculum and it's our spiritual path. And when you decide to walk the way of love, which is to stay conscious and in the present moment, so that you have choice point moment by moment awareness, so that you can consciously choose and decide to live in alignment. That is how you turn up your light. You turn up your light in yourself, you turn up your light in your family, you turn up your light in your friends, you turn up your light in your business, you turn up your light in your customers, you turn up your light in the community. And the community lights up the world. And this is why it is so important for us to do our inner work of turning up our light. And my spiritual path is not your spiritual path, and your spiritual path is not anybody else's spiritual path. We are all on our own, highly personalized, highly customized curriculum for our soul that came here to learn something and came here to express something and came here to expand your capacity to hold and become more light. Weston, my beautiful precious son, has transmitted me principles from the other side that are the way of love, the way that you walk. And when you walk with these six principles, aligned, aligned, aligned and integrity, you never waver from the truth because you know it to be true and you behave like it is. And this is what I teach on my website. This is what I'm teaching in the sisterhood, this is what I am teaching, along with practices to become it. We have to learn to cultivate metacognition, which is to stay aware in our mind that we're aware that we are aware, and we have to cultivate heart opening, no guarded hearts, open-heartedness. And we do that through forgiveness. And then we have to cultivate safety in our nervous system. Because if you get your mind on board, staying present and you're aware, and you get your heart on board that you're in forgiveness and you're in love, but your nervous system doesn't feel like it's safe to expand, your nervous system will override your mind and it will definitely override your heart. And so we want to bring all three of these systems within us into coherence. Because when we are in coherence as a system, as a whole system, and we are not splintered and fractured off inside of our own being, that's when we access the intelligent frequency of the light of our soul and the light of our spirit and the light of the creator to flow through us to reveal more of who we are to ourselves, that we can reveal more of that to the world. I know that the depths of my grief have brought me the heights of my love and my joy. And I know that the same is true for you. So I want to invite you into a very simple practice that I just love to do to help open up your receiving capacities within you to receive and accept more of your light. And open your arms as wide as you can. So your heart chakra is open and simply say, I accept all the light that light has for me. And raise your hands up over your head into prayer position. And as you pull them down, you say, I receive all the light that light has for me. Hold those in front of you and just feel that light. And you can turn your hands over to you as you pull that light into your heart. I am all the light that light has for me. Let's do that again together. Open your arms wide as you can. I accept all the love that love has for me. Hands over your head in prayer position and pulling it down slowly. I receive all the love that love has for me. Hands on your heart.
